Community Living Support Classes
Community Living Supports (CLS) are activities provided by staff that help adults with either serious mental illness or developmental disabilities live independently and participate actively in the community. The activities can include cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, and community inclusion. We offer this service to our clients in group setting with food, fun and outings.

PERS is a service that offers people safety and security while being able to maintain independent living in their own homes and community. Once you, or your loved one begins PERS, that person will now have the opportunity to easily contact our MI Independent Living call center anytime during the day or night. One of our call specialist

One of our call specialists will assist in understanding your needs connecting you to the proper emergency service or a help plan to one of our standby on-site providers.

CLS Discovery Trips
Discovery Trips are fun outings that allow our clients to explore the world. We take them to places all over the state to do things such as sporting events, nature walks in state parks, and visit fun places such as the trampoline park. Food and all activities are provided by us so you or the client just have to show up and be ready to have fun and explore their community and state.

CLS Discovery Trips
This gives families and other caregivers a break from care for clients. Our office is open during certain hours allowing clients to come or be dropped off for respite. Clients will have a multitude of options for activities while the family or caregivers get some much needed free time. This is done in a group setting.

This service provides temporary housing and respite to people who find themselves in an emergent situation and need time to get other plans in place.

Emergency Respite
These are unlicensed homes where groups of clients usually 3-4 will receive community living support to be able to live independently. The staff can be shared among all the clients to give more freedom through the day and gives the ability for each client to have CLS when needed throughout the day.

This service helps clients start, run or maintain their own business. This is a unique opportunity for the client to run their own lawn care service, start their own Etsy store, or even package and sell baked goods. Each client gets money from this business to help enrich his or her own life in the way he or she sees fit.

This is our giant undertaking that we are hoping will be starting next year and be complete in the next couple of years. This will be a place that will be able to house clients, provide them with fun activities, house their businesses and give a myriad of other opportunities to a community that is severely lacking in them.
